Catherine Grace Seter earned her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Piano Performance with honors from San Francisco State University. In addition to piano performance, she studied harpsichord with Sandra Soderlund, chamber music with the Alexander String Quartet, sight-reading, accompaniment, and piano pedagogy with Carlo Bussotti and William Corbett-Jones.
She taught all levels of piano classes as well as piano pedagogy at Los Medanos College in Pittsburg, CA, and was staff accompanist there as well as at Freedom and Liberty High Schools in Brentwood, CA. She was also the accompanist for the Summerset Singers, Karen Anderson's vocal studio, and various other studios and choirs in the San Francisco Bay Area.
She was a Certificate of Merit chairperson and evaluator for over fifteen years. She now teaches in Caldwell, ID, and is a member of the Music Teachers' Association of California, the National Guild of Piano Teachers, the Treasure Valley Music Teachers Association, and the Nampa Musicale.
